MPS reviews Public Security Forces’ performance of tasks in August
PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting on August 26 to review the Public Security Forces’ task performances in August and roll out new working plans for September. General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, chaired the event.

Regarding the police’s implementation of their missions, a report delivered by Major General Tran Duc Tuan, Vice Head of the MPS Office at the meeting revealed that the police force has achieved various good outcomes in crime prevention and combat, and in ensuring social order and security as well as traffic order and safety in August.
This month, 11,858 individuals and teams have been honored by MPS leaders for their outstanding achievements in various fields. Their feats of arms and achievements have been narrated in 336 articles and reports by the public security press agencies. Alongside vividly reflecting police’s professional activities, the public security press and media also published 21 reportages and articles to fight back distorted and fake information of hostile forces.

Speaking at the event, Minister To Lam asked all public security agencies and units to effectively implement directions and plans of the Ministry, and review the implementation and outcomes of the working programs launched by the Ministry for the Q3 and the remaining months of 2019.
Minister To Lam also requested all agencies and units to make special efforts to ensure security and safety for important targets, public places during the National Day while accelerating investigation of the cases supervised by the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption.
