Following Plan No. 207/KH-BCA-X11 issued by the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on August 18, 2015, public security academies and schools quickly mapped out plans to revise their education and training programs on the basis of the course credits system.

Their credit education and training programs strictly complied with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the instructions from the Ministry of Public Security.
With its advantages, the academic credit system has contributed to comprehensively renovating the education and training programs, and teaching methods at public security schools, as well as fundamentally raising the quality of education and training at public security schools in order to meet the requirements for high-quality public security officers of public agencies and units in the past time.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh gave some suggestions on the development of the academic credit system at public security schools in the coming time.

According to the Deputy Minister, public security schools should review 10 years of piloting the academic credit system and 5 years of officially implementing the model at all public security schools as well as draw lessons from the practices.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that the public security academies and schools should pay more attention to developing mechanisms, policies and investing more in facilities for the academic credit system while standardizing their education and training programs and developing high-quality educational administrators and lecturers.
