MPS reviews tasks performances of planning, finance, logistics and technical service sectors

PSNews – Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, recently worked with relevant public security agencies under the Ministry of Public Security specializing in planning, finance, logistic supply and technical service to review their task performances in the first 10 months of 2020, and discuss key tasks in the remaining months of 2020.

According to reports read at the meeting, over the past time, the logistic supply and technical service sectors of the MPS have provided sufficient logistic supplies and technical services for public security units to implement tasks entrusted by the Government as well as for the MPS’s major projects in 2020.

Particularly, they effectively served the project of deploying professional police officers to communes; the building of National Database on Population; recent disaster response, relief and rescue activities in Central Vietnam, as well as prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son recognized and praised the achievements obtained by the four sector over the past time.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also asked the agencies to continue cooperating with relevant functional agencies to complete all of their set 2020 working plans.

He also urged the sectors to strictly implement measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic while speeding up the project to build a system of guest houses for the Public Security Forces, and continue to advise the leaders of MPS in building hostels for communal-level policemen in border provinces.
