MPS rolls out missions on planning, finance, logistics and techniques in 2019

In 2018, all public security agencies and units closely followed the directions of the MPS and actively implemented the tasks on planning, finance, logistics and techniques; therefore, most important projects and unexpected tasks assigned by the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS.
Officers and soldiers working with the planning, financial, logistic and technical sector of public security were unity and absolutely loyal to the leadership of the Party, the State, the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS while heightening their sense of responsibility to overcome difficulties and successfully fulfill their assigned tasks.
At present, the planning, financial, logistic and technical system under the MPS has been operating stably and effectively within a direct and effective leadership mechanism, which has laid an important basis for the whole forces to complete the assigned political tasks in 2019.
Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son highly appreciated and praised the achievements that the planning, financial, logistic and technical sector has gained in 2018.
In order to better serve all tasks of the Public Security Forces in the coming time, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son urged the Party Committee and leaders of the planning, financial, logistic and technical units at all levels to closely follow the guidelines of Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, and Minister of Public Security To Lam at the 74th National Public Security Conference, as well as the Resolutions and Directives of Public Security in 2019.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also asked relevant units to improve the efficiency of state management in a united, professional and expert manner; actively review and complete the legal document system regulating standards of quantity and quality of equipment and technique required for each force, as well as the working procedures for planning, investment and finance under the new organizational system.
Every investment plan should be drawn up on the following principles: settling up with the projects that have been completed and put into operation; prioritizing capital for important projects; providing capital for year-after-year projects that are expected to be completed and put into use in the plan year; and no capital earmarked for new projects, but extremely urgent projects and specialized projects to be considered according to the capital source of the State Budget.
