MPS works with MOJ on implementation of laws
A trans-sectoral inspection mission for the implementation of laws in 2018, under the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) led by Dang Hoang Oanh, Deputy Minister of Justice on June 20, had a meeting with the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).

The meeting saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.
According to reports at the meeting, implementing Resolution No.59/2012/ND-CP issued on July 23, 2012 by the Government on observance of laws, the MPS has issued various plans to monitor and check the observance of the laws within the People’s Public Security Forces.
Under these plans, all public security agencies and units took measures to seriously follow the laws, making positive change in both thinking and action of public security officers and soldiers in the implementation of their assigned tasks of ensuring national security and maintaining social order and safety.
Public security agencies and units conducted 2,302 inspections on law observance in such major fields as dissemination and education of the laws, protection of national secrets, handling of people’s denunciation and information on crimes, investigation and handling of criminal cases, and the work of temporary detention and custody.

During 2016 and 2017, police units nationwide organized 13,041 sessions of law dissemination and education for some 1.3 million inmates in various prisons and detainment centers.
Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister of Justice Dang Hoang Oanh recognized and appreciated the good outcomes gained by the MPS in monitoring the law implementation of the Public Security Forces.
The Deputy Minister also asked the MPS to further coordinate with the MOJ in implementing documents guiding the supervision of the implementation of the laws so that the two ministries can complete all assigned tasks.
