The meeting was joined by Senior Colonel Do Van Hoanh, Chief Inspector of the MPS.
At the reception, participating citizens presented their complaints and denunciations as well as enclosed documents and evidence to the Minister.
After listening to citizens and taking a quick look of the petitions, Minister To Lam assigned the Inspectorate of the MPS to assign relevant agencies of the MPS to resolve the complaints of citizens.
For the complaints and denunciations that are out of the responsibility of the MPS, Minister To Lam instructed citizens to send their denunciations to other competent ministries and agencies.
By hosting a regular citizen reception meeting, Minister To Lam wants police leaders at all levels as well as police officers and soldiers to pay more attention to dealing with citizen's denunciations and complaints.
The Minister also asked relevant units to resolve complaints of citizens in an objective, democratic and transparent manner in accordance with the laws.
