The meeting between the delegation and leadership of the unit also saw the presence of Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai, Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien.

Reports at the event read that, in spite of many difficulties, the Mobile Police Command effectively developed and implemented the project to establish the cavalry police force. Up to now, the horses of the Cavalry Unit are used to the local climate and living conditions and grow well.
During the inspection, the delegates watched horse-mounted police officers carrying out patrols in formation, escorting shipments of goods and combat gears, participating in rescue missions in rough terrains, dismissing riots, shooting, and chasing criminals.

They also observed performances of professional dogs, such as running through obstacles and jumping through fire rings, chasing suspects, and sniffing illicit drugs.
Speaking at the field inspection, on behalf of the MPS leadership, Minister To Lam thanked other ministries, agencies, and local authorities for their support for the establishment of the horse-mounted police force. He also hailed the efforts and working results of the Cavalry Unit over the past time.

Minister To Lam asked the Mobile Police Command to coordinate with relevant agencies under the MPS to create favorable conditions and provide sufficient facilities for the animal training units to implement their assigned functions and tasks.
He also requested the animal police units to study domestic and foreign documents on training and employment of animals, as well as learn experience from domestic and foreign partners in using horses and sniffer dogs in order to develop their own animal training programs meeting the combat requirements of the People's Public Security Forces, thus contributing positively to protecting security and social order.

The Minister also asked the Mobile Police Command to actively coordinate with relevant units and localities to deploy the horse-mounted police teams to conduct patrols and maintain security and social order in some key areas and at important political, tourism and sports events in the coming time.
