Minister To Lam meets retired high-ranking public security officers
PSNews –General To Lam, Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security, on April 11 had a meeting in Can Tho City with retired high-ranking public security officers in South-western localities and Tay Ninh province, on the occasion of the 44th Anniversary of the National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2019).

The event also saw the presence of Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Head of MPS Office; Mr. Dao Anh Dung, Vice Permanent Chairman of the Can Tho Municipal People’s Committee and 200 retired senior public security officers in the 12 provinces and cities of the South-western region and Tay Ninh.
On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS, Minister To Lam welcomed and extended best wishes and briefed delegates on the situation of political security, social order and safety in the country, as well as the achievements of the People Public Security Forces in recent times.

Minister To Lam also thanked senior public security officers who have retired but still made important contributions to the cause of protecting the national security and maintaining social order and safety, and to the building of clean and strong Public Security Forces.
Earlier, Minister To Lam and his delegation visited and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the Memorial House of Ho Chi Minh at the headquarters of the Can Tho Municipal Police.
