Minister To Lam welcomed delegates of the ASEAN-US Business Council to visit and work with the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security. The Minister hailed fruitful outcomes of the flourishing cooperation between Vietnam and the United States in the past time, especially in bilateral trade and investment.

The Minister also spoke highly of the substantial and effective contributions of the USABC and US businesses in promoting bilateral economic, trade and investment cooperation, strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
Minister To Lam hoped that the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and US businesses would expand cooperation in other areas, such as transportation, fire prevention and fighting, rescue and information technology.
Minister To Lam emphasized the consistent policy of the Vietnamese Government in creating a stable and favorable environment for foreign investors, including US ones, to do long-term business in Vietnam.

The host assured that the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security always supports practical developments in the bilateral relations, particularly in economics, trade and investment.
With the aim of promoting economic connectivity, trade cooperation and calling for investment into Vietnam, the Vietnam has been actively participating in international conventions as well as bilateral and multilateral economic agreements to create more favorable conditions for foreign investors, especially US investors, in the country.
Minister To Lam affirmed that the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security will promote further cooperation with relevant US agencies to ensure the best investment environment for foreign investors in general and US businesses in particular in Vietnam.
On behalf of the USABC, Mr. Alexander Feldman highly appreciated the development of the bilateral cooperation over the past time. He believed this development step serves as a premise for the two sides to strengthen and deepen the existing areas of cooperation as well as to expand cooperation in new areas in the coming time.
Mr. Alexander Feldman wished that the Vietnamese Government in general and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in particular will continue to create favorable conditions for US businesses to invest and do business in Vietnam in a stable and long-standing manner.
