Minister To Lam receives outgoing Australian ambassador

At the meeting, Minister To Lam congratulated the outgoing Australian ambassador on his mission accomplishment in Vietnam and spoke highly of his contributions to promoting the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Australia in general and cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and law enforcement agencies of Australia in particular.
General To Lam also noted that thanks to the ambassador's support, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and law enforcement agencies of Australia have achieved large achievements in the cooperation fields of personnel training, information sharing, verdict execution and criminal justice assistance, entry and exit management, anti-human trafficking.
According to Minister To Lam, the two sides in recent times have effectively implemented signed bilateral cooperation deals, contributing to ensuring security and order in each country.
Minister To Lam wished that Craig Chittick would continue contributing to promoting ties between the two countries as well as cooperation between the two law enforcement agencies on security and order for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Ambassador Craig Chittick, for his part, expressed his gratitude to General To Lam for the reception. He believed that the cooperation between the two countries and between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and law enforcement agencies of Australia would further develop in all areas.
Mr. Craig Chittick also promised that he will, in his new position, contribute to the development of the bilateral relations between the two nations.
