Ministry of Public Security Youth Union kicks off Voluntary Youth Campaign 2017
The Voluntary Youth Campaign 2017 will be deployed in 3 months (from June 1 to August 31) in all localities, where public security units are stationed, particularly border and remote areas in the North West, Central Highlands, South West and some other places with complex security and order situations as well as the localities to hold the National High School Final Examination.
Regarding activities celebrating the 70th Day for Invalids and Martyrs (July 27th 1947 - July 27th 2017), the Youth Union organization of Public Security will organize a series of gratitude activities, including visiting and presenting gifts to 70 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, martyrs’ families and revolution contributors; candle lighting ceremonies at Martyrs’ Cemeteries of Hill 82, Tan Bien District, Tay Ninh Province; clean and renovate martyrs' tombs; providing free health checkups free medicines for policy beneficiary families; donating to the building or rebuilding of 70 houses of gratitude.
Speaking at the event, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan, said: the Voluntary Youth Campaign 2017 aims to promote a sense of vanguard of public security youths in participating in socio-economic development in remote, border and island areas. Voluntary activities will help youth union's members promote solidarity and support for the people, contributing to educating and improving qualities of public security officers who are supposed to be brave, intelligent, healthy and excellent at practical social skills.
