Gia Lai Province, located in the Central Highlands, is one of the strategic areas in terms of national defense and security. Ethnic minority people in Gia Lai have a heroic revolutionary tradition, heroic spirit and always unite in supporting each other in overcoming difficulties in life and at work.

Over the past time, the reputable persons of Gia Lai Province have always taken the lead in doing economic activities, and participating in security and social order movements as well as in fighting hostile forces' sabotage acts and plots against the Party and State. They also actively participated in improving material and spiritual lives of local people and promoting ethnic cultural values.

Speaking at the reception, Major General Nguyen Xuan Ha praised the outstanding achievements attained by the reputable persons of the ethnic minorities of Gia Lai Province in recent years. He emphasized that the Public Security Forces always pay attention and want to join hands with ethnic people in maintaining political security and social order, and developing their economies.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Home Security hoped that, in the coming time, the reputable persons of ethnic minorities of Gia Lai will continue cementing solidarity of all ethnic minorities, and serve as a bridge between the local ethnic groups and the authorities at all levels while actively mobilizing all people to implement guidelines and policies of the Party and the State.

He also suggested Gia Lai province’s reputable persons should always put on the alert against plots of hostile forces, contributing to ensuring security in the region, and helping the Public Security Forces fulfill their tasks.
