Mobile Police launch plans to safeguard Election Day

PSNews - The Mobile Police Command (MPC) under the Ministry of Public Security on May 18 held a video conference with its subordinate units to task them to safeguard the election of the 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils for the 2021 - 2026 tenure. Lieutenant General Pham Quoc Cuong, Commander of the MPC chaired the event.
Addressing the conference, Lieutenant General Pham Quoc Cuong ordered the entire mobile police force to ensure security for the election in localities in the country. The Commander asked all the forces to strictly follow directions and plans of the Ministry of Public Security and the MPC on ensuring security and safety for the election .
The Commander also requested all mobile police units to urgently work out their plans in accordance with their functions to send reinforcements to other localities in support of the local police forces.
*On the same day, the Capital Mobile Police Regiment under the MPC organized an exercise with the participation of mobile police in safeguarding the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and all-level People's Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure.
