New Director of Tra Vinh Provincial Police appointed

• Tra Vinh Police hold contest on the movement “Following Six Teachings of Uncle Ho”
• 350 athletes participate in sports event held by Tra Vinh police

The ceremony saw the presence of Mr. Tran Tri Dung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee; representatives from the Ministry of Public Security’s Office, other and  leaders of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department.

At the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh announced the decision signed by the Minister to appoint Senior Colonel Vu Hoai Bac, Deputy Director of the Internal Political Security Department under the Ministry ò Public Security to the position of Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department; and Senior Colonel Le Van Tu, Head of the Tra Vinh Municipal Police Sub-Department to the position of Deputy Director of the Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department.

On behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh hoped that, the 2 newly appointed leaders of the Tra Vinh police would promote the local police’s unity, quickly grasp the local situation and proactively advise the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security as well as local authorities on issues related to political security and social order and safety in the province.
