New Vice Chief Inspector of MPS appointed
The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on June 1 organized a ceremony to announce a decision by the Minister of Public Security on the appointment of new Vice Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the event.
Under the decision, Senior Colonel Pham Hong Tuyen, Director of Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department, has been appointed by the Minister of Public Security as a Vice Chief Inspector of the MPS.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh requested that Senior Colonel Pham Hong Tuyen should continue to heighten his sense of responsibility, and join the Party Committee of the MPS Inspectorate to build a united and strong unit.
Along with other leaders of the Inspectorate, he should advise and assist the Central Public Security Party Committee and the MPS leadership to conduct administrative and professional inspections, as well as settle complaints and denunciations, and combat corruption.
Senior Colonel Pham Hong Tuyen, 58, born in Duy Tien, Ha Nam, has been serving in the Public Security Forces for 40 years. He has taken various positions. He was appointed to be Director of Ha Nam Provincial Police Department in 2015 and Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department in 2016.
He was honored with various noble titles and medals by the Party, State and the MPS.
