New methods in Education & Training
General Political Department (GPD) held a conference on implementing tasks and duties for a new academic year on September 28. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the conference.

The conference saw the participations of Lieutenant General Tran Ba Thieu, General Director of GPD and representatives of related agencies, academies, etc.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Thanh underlined that the academies, universities, etc of MPS have reached fruitful progresses period 2015-2016 in line with national education system, responding to the Public Security Forces' requirements as well as the needs of society.

Upon Senior Lieutenant General Thanh’s request, the Education and Training period 2016-2017 should strictly follow the orientation of the Party, State and MPS, focusing on scientific research, special operations theory of MPS.

The academies, universities, etc of MPS should innovate its guidance, building unity educational environment and improve capacities of leaders and officers, especially attach importance to the applications of leaders' thesis into practice.
