Nghe An police visit family of police officer who died in fight against criminals

PSNews – A delegation of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department led by Senior Colonel Vo Trong Hai, its Director, visited and presented gifts on September 7 to the family of Captain Sam Quoc Nghia, who was killed while doing his duty.

Captain Sam Quoc Nghia worked at the Criminal Investigation Team on Economic and Drug-related Crime of the Que Phong District Police Station from 2015.

He was one of the young, skillful, and brave policemen of the local force who had much experience in fighting drug-related crimes.

Police officer Nghia once was one of the 20 outstanding individuals honored at the Conference of the Emulation Group 8 to for their great achievements in the movement “All people protecting National Security.”

In March, Captain Sam Quoc Nghia died while chasing dangerous drug-related criminals in the mountainous areas of Nam Giai Commune, Que Phong District.

The death of Captain Sam Quoc Nghia was a great loss for the Public Security Forces, his family, and the people.

In recognition of the police officer’s courage and sacrifice in the fight against crimes, State Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh on March 24 signed Decision No. 370/QĐ-CTN on posthumously awarding the Bravery Order to Captain Sam Quoc Nghia.

On behalf of the leaders of the NgheAn police, Senior Colonel Vo Trong Hai encouraged the family of Captain Sam Quoc Nghia and extended his deep condolences to the family of the late police officer.

The delegation also lit incense in commemoration of Captain Sam Quoc Nghia and presented gifts to his family.
