PSA celebrates 65 years of first training courses
PSNews – The People’s Security Academy (PSA) on April 18 organized a ceremony to mark the 65th anniversary of the 1st and 2nd full time training courses (1953-1954) of the Central Police School.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and gave remarks at the event.
The event also saw the presence of Major General Le Minh Hung, Deputy Director of the PSA, representatives from agencies and units of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and 45 alumni of the 1st and 2nd training courses of the Central Police School.
The 1st and 2nd training courses of the Central Police School was the first full-time training courses, the forerunner of the current full-time training system of the Public Security Forces, opened in Phai Cong village, Xuan Quang commune, Chiem Hoa district, Tuyen Quang.

At the ceremony, former students of the training courses recalled all bitter and sweet memories back to 65 years ago, and paid tribute to their teachers and classmates who had passed away.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son warmly welcomed the former students of the courses and emphasized that the meeting was the touching reunion of comradeship.
