PSA holds international conference on English language training

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Assoc. Prof., PhD., Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event.

The scientific meeting also saw the participation of leaders of the National Foreign Language Project Board, various units under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), and experts from prestigious domestic and international English training institutions.

At the conference, delegates discussed the role of foreign languages ​​in the context of Industry 4.0 and strategies to promote foreign language teaching and learning in the national education system in the 2017 - 2025 period.

They also gave ideas on improving the foreign language training projects for the Public Security Forces and approaches to comprehensively renovate English language education in line with Vietnam’s Foreign Language Proficiency Framework, contributing to improving the quality of training and education at People's Security Academy.

To conclude the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh appreciated all ideas and approaches given by the experts at the conference and asked the People's Security Academy to take them into account in order to improve the effectiveness of its English language education, testing and assessment in line with the Six-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam in the coming time.
