PSCPC reviews quality assessment work of Party organizations and members in 2015-2020 term

The Public Security Central Party Committee (PSCPC) held a conference on May 19 in Hanoi to review the operation of its subordinate Party organizations in the 2015 – 2020 term.

The conference also saw the attendance of representatives from the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) as well as of various agencies and units under the MPS.

Speaking at the event, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Secretary of the PSCPC highlighted self-criticism and criticism, quality assessment and commendation as important approaches for Party organizations and members to boost Party building and rectification, contributing to enhancing Party's leadership and capacity of the Party organizations and members.

According to the reports at the conference, over the past time, assessment and classification of Party organizations and Party members have been implemented in a democratic and transparent manner by Party committees of public security agencies and units in accordance with the Party Central Committee’s guidelines and regulations.

At the event, delegates discussed issues related to Party work and proposed solutions to improve the efficiency of assessment and classification of Party organizations and Party members in the time to come.

To conclude the conference, Minister To Lam affirmed that the PSCPC always considers Party building as a key and decisive task.  Minister To Lam requested all Party committees of public security agencies and units to attach much importance to  quality assessment and commendation work of Party organizations and Party members. 

According to him, the purpose of this work is to make the Party organization "cleaner" and "stronger" and make all Party members more capable and virtuous.

The PSCPC Secretary asked that assessment of Party organizations and members should strictly be inspected and supervised in order to prevent and detect wrongdoings in the work while promoting the exemplary role of leaders of Party organizations in performing the work.

At the event, many Party organizations and Party members in the Public Security Forces were honored with noble awards for their achievements in the 2015 – 2020 period.
