Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Pham Van Mien congratulated the Tan Hung Ward leadership and the Executive Board of Residential Quarter 3, and expressed hope that the building will be used efficiently as its main purpose is to support the local force in better maintaining security and order in the locality.
The building, according to the chief of the newspaper of the People’s Public Security Forces, is organized into several function sections such as a station of the street civil guard force, meeting hall for meetings of the local Party organization and social organizations, and a room for local officials to receive the people.
The PSN, on its 70 years of development, has made major efforts to heighten working and living conditions for thousands of public security officers and people across the country. The newspaper of the Public Security Forces also well connected the benefactors with the poor people, contributing to building many gratitude houses; handing tens of thousands of gifts to people in need, helping them overcome difficulties; and supporting many poor students to schools. |
