PSNews supports flood-hit people in Quang Ngai

Senior Colonel Pham Khai, Editor-in-Chief of the Public Security Newspaper (PSNews), leading a charity delegation arrived in Son Bua commune, Son Tay district, Quang Nam on November 2 to support flood-hit local people.

The delegation came to Mang Rin village, Son Bua commune, and presented gifts, worth some 350 million VND, to local people and policemen affected by the recent flooding.
The commune is home to 428 households with 1,802 residents, 93% of whom are the Ca Dong ethnicity. Two houses totally collapsed and some 100 others were partially damaged during the Storm No.9.
After a flash flood swept through the village, 20 officers and soldiers of the District Police Station of Son Tay were deployed to the village to coordinate with the local authorities and other forces to relocate the people and their property to safer places.
