PSNews - On November 1st, the People's Security Academy held a ceremony to present awards to outstanding students in the 2015-16 scientific research movement and launch the 2016 - 2017 movement. The event was under the chairmanship of Major General, Prof. Dr. Bui Trung Thanh, Deputy Director of the Academy.
At the ceremony, Major General, Prof. Dr. Bui Trung Thanh, Deputy Director of the Academy awarded the People's Security Academy’s Certificates of Merits to winners of the first, second or third prizes of the science researching movement within the Academy.

The Youth Executive Committee and Science Management Division of the Academy also launched a scientific research movement among students in the 2016-2017 academic year at the ceremony.

60 scientific research projects of students were awarded Ministerial level prizes.

Scientific research among students has been a traditional learning movement in the People's Security Academy over the years. Members of Youth Union and students of the Academy have actively participated in the Award "Students with scientific research" mobilized by the Ministry of Education and Training in 1990, and they have achieved great achievements,including 8 Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training. From 2006 to 2015, students of the Academy carried out 632 projects, of which 391 received prizes of all levels, 60 works were awarded by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Public Security.
