The Youth Union and the Women's Union chapters of the Phu Yen Provincial Police held a dissemination program against school violence via a moot court at Vo Thi Sau Secondary and High Schools (An Ninh Tay commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province) on March 6.
This is one of the activities celebrating the Youth Month in 2017 and the 86th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931-2017)
The moot court held with an aim to raise students’ awareness of law observance was joined by over 1,200 students.
The moot court has helped participating students understand the importance of law in general and of the criminal law in particular. This event was also a good opportunity for the unions’ members to consolidate and flexibly and effectively practice their law dissemination skills.
In addition, the involved units also held a music and culture exchange program, handed out 2,000 brochures on prevention of drowning and injuries for children in An Ninh Tay commune, handed over 75 gifts (worth VND 250,000 each) to needy students of Vo Thi Sau Secondary and High Schools.
