The group of doctors, led by Senior Colonel Pham Thi Lan Anh, Deputy Chief of the Health Department under the Ministry of Public Security, also gave a medical examination system to the Quang Trung commune healthcare station, Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province during the program.

The charity event, backed by Viettinbank’s Hai Phong Branch, was in celebration of the 3rd anniversary of the Vietnam Social Work Day (March 25) and the 88th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
During the program, nearly 200 poor and old-age people in Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province received free health checkups and medicines from skilled and wholehearted doctors of the Public Security Forces.

The doctors of the Public Security Forces also instructed the locals how to prevent common diseases and how to take care of their personal hygiene.
Every year, the Health Department of the Ministry of Public Security holds several social healthcare programs to express gratitude to policy beneficiaries and support poor people. Their activities have been highly appreciated by people.
