On the morning of November 1, as soon as the weather turned well, the Phuoc Son District Police Station under the Quang Nam Provincial Police Department decided to mobilize dozens of officers to carry food and necessities through a forest to the people, isolated by the recent flooding in Phuoc Loc commune.
The team, led by Colonel Le Nho Tam, head of the Phuoc Son District Police Station, spent hours walking and overcoming difficulties and terrains of the jungle to carry bags of supplies to the people in need.

At 4pm on the same day, they arrived in Phuoc Loc commune with hundreds kilos of supplies. This amount of food and necessities help ease the local people’s difficult in the coming days, before the roads can be reopened. The locals thanked police officers for their great efforts and the supplies
As reported by the PSNews, since October 28, landslides and flooding triggered by torrential rains have isolated 3,000 households in Phuoc Loc and Phuoc Thanh communes of Phuoc Son district. The landslide and flash flood have killed at least five people and left eight other missing in Phuoc Loc commune.
