The “Vietnam Kizuna Ekiden 2018 - Run for Traffic Safety”, held by the Ministry of Public Security in collaboration with Japanese’s Mainichi Newspaper, will take place in Hanoi on November 18. The event is expected to attract some 1.200 Vietnamese and Japanese people, most of whom are officers from the two countries’ law enforcement agencies.
The tournament, which is part of the activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, aims to bolster the friendship and increase exchanges between two countries, particularly the two police forces.
After checking details of the preparation work for the run, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh highly appreciated the preparation of the involved units.
The Deputy Minister of Public Security then urged the relevant units to ensure absolute security and safety for the event, and create best conditions for the guests and participating athletes during the event.
