Public Security Newspaper marks 20 years of charitable program
PSNews – The Public Security Newspaper organized the "Tet for the poor 2019" on December 28 in Ho Chi Minh City, and a ceremony to mark 20 years of the “Tet for the Poor” program, which has been run by the newspaper and participated in by various organizational and individual donors with the aim of bringing a warmer and happier lunar New Year festival (Tet) to the poor across the country.

Speaking at the event, Major General Pham Van Mien, Editor-in-Chief of the Public Security Newspaper, expressed deep thanks to the organizations and individuals who have contributed to the program over the last 20 years.
Mobilized by the Public Security Newspaper and with its humanitarian significance, the “Tet for the Poor” has drawn the participation and donation from various traditional and new donors.
This year’s program also received attention and contribution from various artists and celebrities.
The “Tet for the Poor 2019” collected some 4 billion VND of donation.
Major General Pham Van Mien, speaking on behalf of all leaders, officers and reporters of the Public Security Newspaper as well as the poor from all over Vietnam, extended special gratitude and best New Year wishes to all donors.
