Public Security Newspaper presents gifts to Co Tu people in Da Nang
PSNews – A working delegation, led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and with the participation of the Public Security Newspaper, the Municipal Police of Da Nang and DTH Viet Nam Company, on January 12 visited and presented Tet gifts to poor and ethnic minority people in Hoa Bac and Hoa Phu communes, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang.

The local authorities and people of Ta Lang and Gian Bi villages showed up early at the community house of Hoa Bac commune.
Many reputable elderly people of the two villages expressed their delights at meeting Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, who used to be a security officer at the Hoa Vang Police Station and spent many years working in this area.
The two villages are home to some 250 households, including 236 ethnic minority households.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son, Major General Vu Xuan Vien, Director of the Da Nang Municipal Police Department and Major General Pham Van Mien, Editor-in-Chief of Public Security Newspaper and sponsors presented gifts to poor and ethnic minority households in the two villages.
Each gift includes rice, various necessities and 700,000 VND in cash. Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son extended his best wishes of the lunar New Year to all people and hoped that the commune would gain more achievements in the future.
The charitable delegation also visited and presented gifts to people in Hoa Phu commune. According to Nguyen Tan, Chairman of the Hoa Phu People’s Committee, the commune is home to 1,200 households with over 5,100 people, including 130 ethnic minority families of the Co Tu and Muong ethnic groups, mostly living in Phu Tuc village.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son and the delegation presented 150 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to people in Phu Tuc village.
