Public security cadets donate blood to save their comrades and people

PSNews – The Public Security University on August 24 in collaboration with the Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City held a blood donation drive themed “Blood Donation for Dear Comrades.”

According to Senior Lieutenant Tran Hai Du, Secretary of the Public Security University’s Youth Union chapter, blood donation is an annual activity of the school, receiving huge support from the Youth Union members and students.
This was the first voluntary blood donation drive launched by the school in the 2019-2020 academic year.
Such a blood donation drive shows the vanguard spirit and the responsibility of public security youths toward the society, contributing to ensuring a quality and sufficient source of blood for medical treatment.
The event drew the participation of nearly 400 young police officers and cadets of the university with a total donation amount of 389 blood units.
