Quang Ninh police successfully resolve 95.5% of serious cases

In 2018, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police well implemented the movement "For National Security" with the theme "Quang Ninh police force be innovative, active, disciplined, responsible, effective and devoted to the people". All 14 local police divisions under the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department drew up action plans based on their situations to fulfill contents of the movement.

As a result, the local police well maintained local security and safety, contributing to social-economic development of the province. According to the official statics, over 89.1% criminal cases were successfully investigated and solved while 95.5% serious criminal cases were resolved.

Other achievements of the local police include: the state management of security and order strengthened;  the number of traffic accidents, traffic-related deaths and injuries significantly reduced; and fire and explosion basically controlled.

Besides, Party building and force building work, as well as other emulation movements and campaigns launched by the unit were also conducted effectively and brought about practical good outcomes.

For their achievements in the implementation of the movement and task performance, 899 individuals and collectives of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police were awarded with noble titles by local authorities and the Ministry of Public Security.

In order to better perform the movement "For National Security" next year, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police decided to focus on the fight against drug-related crimes, economic and environmental crimes while enhancing discipline observance, internal unity and innovation at work.
