Son La police forces join counter-terrorist drill
PSNews – The Provincial Police of Son La on May 23 organized a comprehensive drill to conduct counter-terrorist, hostage rescue, demining, fire fighting and rescue activities at the Sporting Center of the province.

The drill was joined by some 1,000 officers and soldiers from various units of the Provincial Police and functional forces with many modern vehicles, equipment and supporting tools.
According to Senior Colonel Phung Tien Trien, Vice Director of the Provincial Police, the drill was organized for the functional forces to practise tactics and skills in handling complex security and order situations. It also provided an opportunity for leaders at various levels to direct police units and other forces to respond to certain incidents or situations.
After more than an hour, the drill ended up with success thanks to the careful preparations and efforts of all participants.
