Son La police organize Party Congress for 2020 – 2025 term

Overview of the congress.

During the term of 2015-2020, the Party Committee of the Son La Provincial Police Party Committee effectively realized the Resolution of the 19rd Party Congress of the provincial police Party organization. Under the leadership of the Party organization, the social order was maintained and the rate of successful investigation of criminal cases reached 93.4%.

Regarding the fight against narcotics, the Son La Provincial Police Department has investigated 4,101 cases, arrested 6,748 suspects and seized a large amount of drug, including 314 kg heroin, 172 kg opium, over 1.3 million synthesized drug pills.

At the congress, delegates gave ideas to the draft Political Report, discussed and voted the objectives and tasks of the provincial police Party organization for the 2020-2025 term.

Delegates vote a new Executive Committee.

Speaking at the congress, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong asked the Son La provincial police Party organization to pay attention to building a clean and strong Party organization while raising capacity of leaders.

Delegates also elected a new Executive Committee of the Son La provincial police Party organization for the next term.
