Traffic police join hand in cleaning up Hoan Kiem Lake

This was one of the practical activities of the unit in response to the Month of Youth and the 88th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
During the morning, young officers and soldiers of Traffic Police Team No.1 together with sanitation workers collected garbage and leftovers, cleaned up along Dinh Tien Hoang, Le Thai To, Hang Khay streets.
They also disseminated public sanitation and environment protection to other young people and tourists walking around Sword Lake.
Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Manh Tuan , Secretary of the Youth Union chapter of Traffic Police Team No.1 said that, besides their main working tasks of ensuring traffic safety and preventing crime in Hoan Kiem District, every young officer of the unit actively participates in charity, social and voluntary activities for the community.
Through various activities such as cleaning up the Sword Lake area, each young police officer of the unit is willing to contribute their part to the development of the capital city.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hieu, Head of Sword Lake Cleaning Team No.2 said that the urban sanitation work always receives much support from police officers and soldiers of Traffic Police Team No.1, especially during rush hours.
