Vietnam, Lao intensify cooperation in preventing riot and terrorism

The Lao delegation of the Mobile Police High Command paid a working visit to a mobile police unit under the High Command of Mobile Police of Vietnam in Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city, on October 19.

This working visit aimed to strengthen the traditional friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos in general as well as between the mobile police forces of the two countries in particular.

At the meeting, the two sides reviewed the outcomes of the cooperation between the mobile police forces of the two countries and rolled out the plans for cooperation in the coming time.

Both sides hoped that the mobile police forces will continuously exchange information and experience in combating against terrorism and riot so as to enhance the quality and efficiency of their work, contributing to ensuring national security and social order of each countries, in the current situation. 

On this occasion, the Lao side extended their condolences to the people in the northern provinces of Vietnam who suffered numerous losses in the recent flooding.
