Workshop on the public security work in 2016
PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security held a seminar on November 7th in Hanoi to review the task performance of the entire force in 2016.

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the seminar.
At the meeting, delegates focused discussion on the domestic and international political, security and economic situations relating to the public security forces’ implementing its main task of ensuring security and order in 2016.

In particular, the seminar reviewed the public security forces’ implementation of tasks in the fields of political security, social order and social safety; cyber security; law enforcement and judicial assistance; legal affairs and administrative reform; building the movement “All people protecting national security”; and foreign affairs and international cooperation.
Delegates also evaluated the overall results of Party building work, force building and mass mobilization work in 2016 as well as financial work, logistics and technical work. Depending on their expertise, delegates forecast future developments of the situation and proposed measures and directions to handle them in 2017.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam clearly stated that this seminar made a comprehensive assessment in various aspects of the public security forces' task performance in 2016, and highlighted progresses of the whole force in implementing the Resolution issued by the Central Public Security Party Committee at the beginning of 2016.
In addition, delegates pointed out weaknesses and limitations as well as causes of the issues while giving proper assessment of other issues, such as personnel and organization, political ideology education and management across the public security forces.
