Young Quang Nam policemen offer 720 gifts to local flood-hit people

The young voluntary team presented 420 gifts to people in 7 flooded communes of Nong Son district and 300 gifts to people in Duy Trinh commune of DuyXuyen district. Each gift package includes instant noodles, rice, spices and others necessaries.

Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Ngoc Truyen, Secretary of the Quang Nam Police’s Youth Union organization said, terrible flooding caused by heavy rains has badly affected Quang Nam people.Thousands of houses were washed away, hundreds of hectares of plants and crops were waterlogged for a long time, all of which has left  negative impacts on local people's lives.

Under the direction of the Quang Nam Provincial Police, the province’s police Youth Union chapter in collaboration with Neslte Vietnam held the charity program to share the difficulties with flood-hit people in Quang Nam. The activities demonstrate local police youths’ compassion and love for local people in misfortune.
