Young police officers help local people harvest rice crops

PSNews - The Youth Union chapter of the Hoa Binh Municipal Police on the morning of June 9 in collaboration with the Youth Union chapter of Su Ngoi commune supported local farmers in harvesting summer-autumn rice crops.
Within a day, the police officers helped local people harvest more than 1.500m2 of paddy rice.

On June 9, when the sun started burning the ground, dozens of young police officers worked in the field helping local people harvest their rice crops.

This was a practical activity in the youth volunteer campaign 2017 of the Hoa Binh city’s young police officers.

Speaking to the PSNews, Senior Lieutenant Ta Phuong Anh, Secretary of the Hoa Binh City Police's Youth Union chapter, said: "This is the first time the Youth Union chapter has organized this kind of meaningful activity. We can see the happiness of local people and I’m proud that I can do something to them.”

“In the coming time, we will try our best to fulfill our assigned tasks in a short time so that we can have more time helping the people", said the Youth Union chapter secretary.
