A high-ranking public security officer posted to Central Inspection Commission
PSNews - Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security General To Lam, Politburo member presided over a ceremony to announce a personnel decision made by the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, on the afternoon of November 27, in Hanoi.
Also present at the ceremony was Member of the Standing Commission of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Le Van Tuyen.
At the ceremony, delegates heard the Secretariat's decision on personnel posting.
Accordingly, on October 30, 2023, the Secretariat signed a decision to post Director of the Department of Internal Political Security under the Ministry of Public Security Major General Vu Hong Van to the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister To Lam believed that, with his qualities, abilities and working experience in the People's Public Security Forces, Major General Vu Hong Van would successfully complete his newly assigned tasks.
For his part, Major General Vu Hong Van expressed his sincere gratitude to General To Lam as well as other leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, saying that he had received much support from higher-level leadership and developed himself a lot since he started his career in the Public Security Forces.
Major General Vu Hong Van stated, “No matter what position I holds, I will always maintain the qualities of a public security officer, always inherit and promote the good traditions of the Public Security Forces, and complete all assignment, worthy of the trust of the Party and people."
