The art camp offers opportunities for the artists inside and outside the Public Security Forces to discuss and exchange their experience in creating art works on the image of the Public Security Forces.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on December 15, Major General Nguyen Cong Bay, Vice Director of the Department of Party and Political Work, emphasized that the leaders of the MPS always attach importance to developing cultural and art movements in the Public Security Forces.

The art camp aims to encourage the creativity of artists on the topic “Public security officers are always ready to sacrifice themselves for the country and the people”.

The MPS will organize field trips for artists to a number of local-level police units in Ha Giang and Lao Cai. Through the field trips to police units, artists can learn and understand better about the work of the police at the local level as well as their hardships and sacrifices in the fight against crime and for national security. It is expected that life and work of policemen will inspire artists and be vividly reflected in their future artworks.

This year’s art camp has gathered in 300 artists.
