Ben Tre Provincial Police Department holds voluntary blood donation festival
The Ben Tre Provincial Police Department in coordination with the Ben Tre Provincial Red Cross and the Can Tho Hospital of Hematology and Blood Transfusion launched the 3rd voluntary blood donation festival with the participation of officers from police units in Can Tho, on August 9th, 2024.
With the aim of spreading the message of “One drop of blood given, one life saved”, the voluntary blood donation festival attracted hundreds of local police officers and enlistees to participate in.
At the end of the program, 101 blood units donated by local police officers were collected and transferred to hospitals for treatment of patients.
Voluntary blood donation is a regular activity of Can Tho police officers and enlistees, reflecting their pioneering role in blood donation movements and demonstrating their humanity and responsibility to the community.
