Binh Duong police forces make great contributions to provincial achievements in 2021
The Provincial Police Department of Binh Duong held a conference to review their task performance in 2021 and announce new work plans for 2022.
The event, which was chair by Senior Colonel Trinh Ngoc Quyen, Director of the Provincial Police Department, saw the presence of Major General Le Quoc Hung Deputy Minister of Public Security and Mr. Vo Van Minh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Pham Van Chanh.
The Provincial Police Department of Binh Duong was rewarded the first-class Feat of Arms Order by the State President, Excellent Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister while the Director of the Provincial Police Department was honored with the third-class Feat of Arms Order and various divisions and officers were praised for their outstanding achievements.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung emphasized that given the difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the provincial police forces had successfully achieved the “dual goals”. He congratulated the provincial Party organizations and people of Binh Duong for overcoming their difficulties and gaining various achievements while expressed sympathy for the losses caused by the 4th COVID-19 wave in the province.
He also urged the provincial police to take measures to prevent and combat COVID-19 given the complicated developments of the pandemic while pointed out shortcomings that the provincial police need to overcome.
They should take measures to ensure security in industrial zones, social and economic security in Binh Duong as the province is an industrial hub of the Southern area.
Last year, the province witnessed social disturbances and public disorder incidents involving workers who were invoked by hostile forces. With their active and timely responses, the local police forces successfully handled all the cases.
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Minh, speaking at the event, noted that the province has achieved and exceeded economic and social targets set for 2021 while successfully controlling the pandemic.
He highlighted that the provincial police forces have made great contributions to the joint achievements of the province and hoped that they will achieve more and more successes in work in the time to come.
