CAND Newspaper receives congratulations on Revolutionary Press Day
PSNews - On the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-2023), the Public Security (CAND) Newspaper received leaders of various agencies and units who visited and extended congratulations to the unit.
* State President Vo Van Thuong, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha sent flowers of congratulations to the CAND Newspaper on the occasion of the 98th Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
A delegation of the Central Commission for Internal Affairs led by its Deputy Head Dang Van Dung on June 20 visited and extended congratulations to CAND Newspaper.
On behalf of the Central Commission for Internal Affairs, Mr. Dang Van Dung extended the best wishes to the Party Committee, Board of Editors, and all staff members of the CAND Newspaper.
He also spoke highly of the contribution of the CAND Newspaper in reporting on internal affairs as well as the activities of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption.
He also hoped that the newspaper will continue to uphold its glorious tradition and serve as a bridge between the Central Commission of Internal Affairs and readers nationwide.
At the meeting, Major General Pham Khai, Editor in Chief of the CAND Newspaper, thanked the Central Commission of Internal Affairs for the visit. He said, the CAND Newspaper wished to continue to receive the sound direction of the commission so that the newspaper can better fulfill its task of covering internal affairs.
* On same day, a delegation from the Government Inspectorate led by its Deputy Inspector General Bui Ngoc Lam visited and extended congratulations to CAND Newspaper.
On behalf of the Government Inspectorate, Mr. Bui Ngoc Lam presented a flower basket to the CAND Newspaper. He also praised the CAND Newspaper for its effective coordination with the Government Inspectorate over the past time, stressing that the CAND Newspaper is one of the key press agencies that gives full coverage of the Government Inspectorate activities to the public.
In the coming time, Mr. Bui Ngoc Lam hoped that the CAND will continue to promote its results and achievements, and coordinate closely with the Government Inspectorate.
On behalf of the CAND Newspaper leaderships and staffs, Major General Pham Khai extended thanks to the Government Inspectorate for the close coordination in the past time. According to Major General Pham Khai, news about major cases released by the Government Inspectorate has always received huge attention from the newspaper’s audience over the past time.
In the coming time, the CAND Newspaper will continue to coordinate with the Government Inspectorate and the Government's press agencies to promptly report on corruption cases and cases of public concern.
* On same morning, a delegation from the Ministry of Health led by its Deputy Minister Tran Van Thuan visited and congratulated the CAND Newspaper.
Leaders of many agencies and units at all levels also visited and extended congratulations to the newspaper.
