The Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to receive scholarships from Charmvit Group (Korea) for the children of fallen and wounded local public security officers or good students in difficult circumstances through the People's Public Security Forces Comradeship Fund, on the afternoon of November 22, in Hanoi.At the ceremony, Charmvit Group Chairman Lee Dae Bong gave one billion VND of funding to the Ministry of Public Security.

The Ministry of Public Security will then transfer to the People's Public Security Forces Comradeship Fund, which will grant scholarships to the children of fallen and wounded public security officers with good school records.

The funding demonstrated good multifaceted cooperation between Charmvit Group and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.

At the event, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To expressed thanks to Charmvit Group for its support and close cooperation with the Vietnamese Public Security Forces, saying that the funding showed the goodwill and noble gesture of Chairman Lee Dae Bong and Charmvit Group, who had granted scholarships to children of Vietnamese public security forces in difficult family circumstances for many years.

According to him, the scholarship is a source of encouragement for the disadvantaged children, to supporting them to overcome difficulties to become good students and follow in their father's footsteps in the cause of building and developing the country.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To affirmed that the Ministry of Public Security will do its best to create a favorable environment for foreign investors and businesses, including Koreans, to do business in Vietnam.
