Criminal Police Department receives noble title

The Criminal Police Department held a meeting on August 15 to celebrate the 77th founding anniversary of the People’s Public Security Forces (August 19, 1945) and receive the “Hero of People’s Armed Forces” title.

The event saw the presence of Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, and delegates who are leaders and former leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the former General Department of Police as well as the Department of Criminal Police.

Lieutenant General Tran Ngoc Ha, Director of the Criminal Police Department, briefed delegates on the outstanding achievements gained by the department over the past years as well as its action plans for the coming time.

The Criminal Police Force has been honored with various titles and awards by the Party and State. Notably, 32 criminal police subunits and 18 officers have been honored with the title “Hero of the Armed Forces.”

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc appreciated the achievements of the criminal police force over the past time.

On this occasion, various officers and former leaders of the department were presented with “Military Exploit” and “Fatherland Protection” Orders by the State President while one unit and 7 officers received the certificate of merit from the Prime Minister.
