Cuban medical experts share expertise with Vietnamese doctors from public security hospitals

The conference, entitled "Medical network and professional exchange between Vietnam and Cuba", saw the presence of the group of Cuban medical experts from CIMEQ Hospital of the Ministry of Interior of Cuba led by Dr. Waldo Jimenez Gonzalez, an ear, nose and throat specialist.

The group experts shared working experiences and knowledge of modern medicine with Vietnamese medical workers from hospitals and medical centers under the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.

Making the opening speech at the conference, Director of the 19-8 Hospital Senior Colonel Hoang Thanh Tuyen Dr., Assoc. Prof., said, the 19-8 Hospital, as a grade I general hospital, professionally directs the entire public security medical network and takes the lead in researching and applying scientific and technological advances to examination and treatment activities.

At the conference, many good experiences, advanced and modern techniques in medical examination and treatment were shared by Cuban medical experts and Vietnamese doctors.

The discussion was focused on the fields of gastroenterology, regenerative medicine, pain relief, treatment of chronic kidney disease, and díeases related to ear, nose and throat.
