PSNews - Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Le Van Tuyen attended and made a keynote speech at a conference chaired by Director of the Department of Telecommunications and Cipher Major General Le Khac Thuyet to review the task performance in 2022 and roll out the work plan for 2023 of the Department of Telecommunications and Cipher under the Ministry of Public Security, on the morning of January 3, 2023, in Hanoi.

Deputy Head of the Government Cipher Department Senior Colonel Nguyen Huu Hung and leaders of relevant agencies and units under the Ministry of Public Security and the Government Cipher Committee. 

In 2022, the Department of Telecommunications and Cipher actively and effectively advised the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security on telecommunications and cipher affairs and led the cipher sector of the Public Security Forces to successfully complete all the work plans.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen praised the Department of Telecommunications and the public security cipher sector for their great effort and good work results in 2022.

Regarding key tasks for the Department of Telecommunication and Cipher and the sector in 2023, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen requested the unit to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement directions of the Minister of  Public Security at the 78th National Security Conference on building a regular, elite and modern public security cipher force, speed up the implementation of projects to telecommunications and cipher invested by the Ministry of Public Security, maintain smooth, fast, accurate and timely communications, ensure information security and safety, and improve the efficiency of coordination between units under the Ministry of Public Security and units under the Government Cipher Committee.

The Deputy Minister also suggested that the Department of Telecommunications and Cipher should strengthen inspection, guidance and supervision of its subordinate units’ work to ensure that they all serriously obsserve the regulations set by the Ministry of Public Security related communications and network security.
