Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung attends “All people protecting national security” Festival in Dong Nai

Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Head of the Central Steering Committee for the “All people protecting national security” movement, attended the “All people protecting national security” Festival in Dong Nai province, on August 13th, 2024.

At the event, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung praised the Dong Nai authorities at all levels for their achievements in maintaining security and order in the province, contributing to promoting local economic, cultural and social developments, and said that their effort had been recognized and appreciated by the people.

To effectively promote the “All people protecting national security” movement in the coming time, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested that the Dong Nai Provincial Police Department should actively advise local authorities at all levels to effectively carry out the “All people protecting national security” movement in line with other campaigns and patriotic emulation movements launched by the Party and State, as well as mobilize the mass to join hands with police forces in maintaining local security and order, contributing to ensuring security and order at the grassroots.

The Deputy Minister also asked the Dong Nai Provincial Police Department to pay more attention to building a clean, strong and qualified communal police force as well as the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, while strengthening the people’s security posture in line with the national defense posture and building a firm people’s heart posture.

In addition, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung suggested that Dong Nai province should actively renovate methods and forms of dissemination, apply modern technologies and take advantage of social media in promoting the “All people protecting national security” movement in cyberspace as well as in industrial zones and areas with a large number of workers, while promoting and duplicating typical self-managed security models in localities.
