Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung attends Festive Day “All people protect national security" in Ninh Thuan
Head of the Steering Committee for the “All people protect national security” Movement and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung attended and delivered a keynote speech at the Festive Day “All people protect national security", on the morning of August 1, in Kinh Dinh ward, Phan Rang - Thap Cham city, Ninh Thuan province.
Over the past years, thanks to the sound leadership of the Party committee and authorities at all levels, the order and security situation in Kinh Dinh ward has basically been maintained, and the the “All people protect national security” movement has seen a new development and drawn the participation of a large majority of the local people.
In particular, the ward has installed 40 security cameras, built 18 public fire fighting points and 04 joint family fire-fighting groups.
As a result, the number of crime and social evils in the ward has reduced, and local people have been secured.
Such a safe and secure circumstance has created favorable conditions for local people to work and increase their incomes, and attracted more investors and visitors to the locality.
Speaking at the festival, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung suggested that Kinh Dinh ward should enhance public education on the significance of the “All people protect national security” movement so that more local people and officials can participate in the movement as well as in preventing and controlling crime.
The local authorities should actively build self-managed security and fire models in residential areas and industrial clusters.
