Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen works with leaders of Gia Lai Provincial Police Department

The Ministry of Public Security's working delegation led by Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Le Van Tuyen had a working session with key officers from the Gia Lai Provincial Police Department, on the afternoon of October 31.

At the meeting, Director of the Provincial Police Department Major General Rah Lan Lam briefed the deputy minister and other delegates on the security situation in the province and results of the task implementation of the local police since the beginning of 2023.

The report underlined that the local police proactively grasped, analyzed, evaluated, and accurately forecast the situation, and promptly advised leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Provincial Party Committee, and Provincial People's Committee on policies and measures to ensure security and order, effectively address plots and sabotage acts by hostile, reactionary forces and criminals.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Hai Long said, over the past time, the provincial police had ensured political security and maintained social order and safety, contributing positively to socio-economic development in the province.

Concluding the conference, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen asked leaders of police subunits at all local levels to make further efforts to reach all work targets of the year, especially targets on building communal-level police posts in the province.

Meanwhile, the local police forces should synchronously deploy professional measures to maintain security and order, avoiding being passive or surprised in all situations while actively implementing  Project 06, promoting the movement of “All People Protecting National Security, and attaching importance to Party building and force building.
